What is KOCHUM?
KOCHUM is a platform that works like a personal coach for students preparing for YKS. The question bank, mock exams, analytics, weekly study plan and preference robot live in one place and know about each other.
Is KOCHUM paid?
You can create a free account and start right away. Our paid packages will be announced soon; we'll share the details here once they're final.
How many questions are in the bank?
The bank has about 17,000 YKS questions. Every question is tagged by subject and topic, so your analytics are broken down topic by topic too.
Are the mock exams in the real exam format?
Yes. A TYT mock has 120 questions, just like the real exam. You solve it against the clock; when you finish you see your correct, wrong and blank answers and net, a breakdown by topic and every answer question by question.
How is the estimated score calculated?
We estimate your net per subject from your correct and wrong answers, then calculate your estimated TYT and AYT score from those nets. It doesn't guarantee your real exam result; it's an indicator of where you're heading.
How does the preference robot work?
You can search and filter 21,867 university programmes. The robot shows your placement odds for each programme based on past years' minimum scores and ranks, and you build your 24-choice list.
Can my teacher or coach use KOCHUM?
Yes. With the teacher and coach panel they can invite their students, assign homework and follow each student's analytics.
Is there a mobile app?
Our iOS and Android apps are coming soon. Until then you can comfortably use KOCHUM in your phone's browser; the interface is designed for mobile.
Is my personal data safe?
Your personal data is processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) and used only to provide the service. See the KVKK privacy notice and the privacy policy for details.
